Overview
We are seeking a Lead Scheduler to join our team in Indianapolis IN. The role involves creating schedules for large and megasize capital construction projects. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and competitive compensation.
What You'll Do18
- 1Support project team and stakeholders in managing schedules for successful project delivery
- 2Work directly with schedulers from various general contractors and design-build teams to monitor schedule risk
- 3Maintain overall milestone program and ensure milestone definitions are written and agreed upon by stakeholders
- 4Create detailed schedules that support project milestones
- 5Determine reasonable schedule logic and constraints based on discussions with task owners and/or teams
- 6Evaluate critical and near critical path activity sequencing and facilitate review sessions with all stakeholders
- 7Create schedule reports and analyze indicators according to the project execution plan
- 8Identify major milestones critical approvals and long lead procurement items
- 9Assess actual progress based on site inspections and validate contractors’ approach to measuring and reporting against the schedule
- 10Identify schedule changes gaps and trends while proactively working through issues with stakeholders
- 11Monitor and report schedule deliverables
- 12Conduct schedule review meetings with customers and stakeholders
- 13Communicate and present schedule status to multiple stakeholders and support negative float resolution
- 14Suggest corrective actions and develop recovery plans when delays are anticipated or occur
- 15Understand integration points of multiple projects and ensure schedules support each other
- 16Prepare and present consolidated progress reports to program senior management
- 17Provide what-if schedules for projects as needed
- 18Share lessons learned throughout the project
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 210+ years of P6 experience in large to mega-sized construction projects
- 3AACE certification preferred
- 4Pharmaceutical heavy industrial experience preferred
- 5Site-based position requiring ability to understand float and tie scope
Salary Insight
$150 - $170k per year
