What You'll Do8
- 1Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders care plans and accepted standards of nursing practice
- 2Serve as clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff providing guidance and support throughout each shift
- 3Assist with coordinating daily nursing operations to ensure quality resident care and appropriate staffing coverage
- 4Monitor resident conditions respond to changes in status and communicate concerns to physicians and nursing leadership
- 5Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements
- 6Support compliance with infection-prevention safety and nursing policies and procedures
- 7Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive resident outcomes
- 8Assist with orienting and training new nursing staff as needed
Requirements8
- 1Current active unencumbered Registered Nurse license in New Jersey required
- 2Valid BLS certification CPR required
- 3Ability to effectively manage the care of multiple residents simultaneously
- 4Minimum two years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required
- 5Previous supervisory experience not required leadership training provided
- 6Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills
- 7Working knowledge of nursing practices procedures and applicable federal and state regulations governing long-term care
- 8Ability to build positive relationships with residents families staff physicians and community partners
