Overview

Seasonal Site-Based Lead Facilitator delivering programming to Girls Groups across Portland metro area supporting up to 25 hours per week. This role begins September 2026 and ends June 2027 focusing on program delivery facilitation training and support recruitment retention and data collection.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Deliver in-person programming at three school sites adapting curriculum and facilitation style to meet youth needs
  • 2Facilitate group discussions ensuring inclusive participation and high impact learning experiences
  • 3Provide training and support to new facilitators coordinating with program manager
  • 4Transport supplies snacks and materials adapting lesson plans for each group
  • 5Collect and track program data including session summaries enrollment demographics and surveys
  • 6Support recruitment efforts at community events and maintain relationships with school partners
  • 7Coordinate logistics for after school programs and occasional weekend work
  • 8Adapt programming to address behavioral dynamics and youth needs during sessions
  • 9Assist with tabling at outreach events to boost youth enrollment
  • 10Share learnings with team members and implement curriculum changes as needed
  • 11Manage multiple sites and activities delegating tasks effectively

Requirements11

  • 1At least 2 years experience facilitating youth groups
  • 2At least 1 year experience training and coaching youth professionals
  • 3Ability to manage multiple activities and sites while delegating effectively
  • 4Strong cross-team collaboration and communication skills
  • 5Knowledge of group facilitation best practices and youth development
  • 6Commitment to strength-based and culturally responsive approaches
  • 7Flexibility for variable schedule including evenings and occasional weekends
  • 8Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods
  • 9Familiarity with Google Suite Zoom and hybrid work structures
  • 10Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation options
  • 11Background check clearance
