The owner/partner seeks a High-End Rough + Finish Carpenter / Renovation Specialist to join a fast-growing boutique residential renovation firm. The ideal candidate will partner with experienced professionals to deliver custom bathroom and kitchen renovations alongside full apartment and townhouse projects in Brooklyn and Manhattan. This role emphasizes autonomy problem solving and long-term growth within a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build custom cabinetry and millwork using Python and AWS integrated design tools
- 2Design and execute structural framing and trim systems leveraging React frontend frameworks
- 3Lead complex renovations ensuring quality control through hands-on oversight and team coordination
- 4Ship finished projects while maintaining compliance with OSHA safety standards
- 5Develop detailed project plans and communicate progress using email and text messaging platforms
- 6Maintain personal tool inventory and operate heavy equipment independently
- 7Drive client satisfaction by delivering high-end finishes that exceed expectations
- 8Analyze workflow bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity
Requirements11
- 1U.S. citizen or valid work authorization card
- 210+ years of experience in high-end residential carpentry and renovation
- 3Proven ability to read architectural plans and blueprints
- 4Strong proficiency in CPC Card certification
- 5Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- 7Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs safely under pressure
- 8Familiarity with BCBA certification preferred
- 9Experience with Kubernetes containerization for project management systems
- 10Ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team
- 11Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
