
Lead Business Systems Analyst EDW
Overview
You will own the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) backlog, turning stakeholder needs into technical requirements for analytics and reporting. You will bridge business teams and data engineers, driving delivery of Snowflake, DataStage, and Python/PySpark solutions. You will also coordinate with QA to validate Infogix and Tableau outputs. Your decisions will shape data infrastructure used by executives. This hybrid role in Columbus puts you at the center of enterprise data strategy.
What You'll Do8
- 1Gather and document business requirements for EDW enhancements, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- 2Own the product backlog, prioritizing features with stakeholders and data engineering teams.
- 3Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business users to define data and reporting needs.
- 4Design data quality checks with Infogix to ensure accuracy of Snowflake models.
- 5Collaborate with developers on Python/PySpark pipelines and DataStage jobs to meet business rules.
- 6Validate Tableau dashboards and reports against requirements, sign off on releases.
- 7Drive data governance by aligning requirements with enterprise data standards.
- 8Support UAT and production rollout, resolving defects and clarifying edge cases.

- 17+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in data warehousing environments.
- 23+ years leading requirements for EDW initiatives with Snowflake and DataStage.
- 3Strong expertise in Python/PySpark for data analysis and validation.
- 4Hands-on experience with Infogix data controls and Tableau reporting.
- 5Proven track record managing complex backlogs and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
- 6Excellent communication to translate business needs into actionable technical specs.
- 7Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 8Experience in financial services or healthcare data domains preferred.
