Overview
We seek a Laundry Specialist to lead housekeeping laundry operations at Brazos Presbyterian Homes. The role involves washing drying folding linens while maintaining equipment and inventory. This position offers a chance to support older adults in a premium setting.
What You'll Do9
- 1Wash dry fold resident laundry ensuring equipment safety
- 2Sort pre rinse treat and bleach linens as needed
- 3Operate and maintain laundry equipment while keeping area clean
- 4Track linen inventory and report shortages to the director
- 5Follow state and federal regulations reporting violations
- 6Assist with cleanup of spills fires and leaks
- 7Maintain OSHA safety standards in work area
- 8Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- 9Demonstrate hospitality promises to residents families and vendors
Requirements9
- 11 year experience in laundry operations preferably hospitality or healthcare
- 2High school diploma or GED preferred
- 35+ years of relevant experience
- 4Spark and Airflow proficiency
- 5CPC Card certification
- 6BCBA certification
- 7AWS Certified experience
- 8Kubernetes knowledge
- 9Strong reading writing and direction following abilities
