- 1Operate washing and drying equipment
- 2Load and unload textiles from machines
- 3Measure and administer cleaning agents according to formulas
- 4Monitor feeder information on washers and report irregularities
- 5Set proper drying and cooling times for different linen types
- 6Clean machines and surrounding areas
- 7Sort linen and terry items
- 8Pre-treat items for stains as needed
- 9Fold linen and terry according to property specifications
- 10Transport linen and terry within the laundry area and to storage
- 11Comply with hotel safety requirements for supplies equipment and facilities
Requirements6
- 1Physically able to stand sit walk bend lift and squat for extended periods
- 2Customer service focus to anticipate guest needs greet and acknowledge guests and team members respond to requests and ensure guest satisfaction
- 3Perseverance to complete work efficiently with attention to quality and detail
- 4Strong action orientation to deliver desired outcomes
- 5Working knowledge of laundry chemicals and their effects on various linen types
