We seek a Laser Etch/ Engrave Operator to lead engraving tasks at our Greenwood facility. This role involves setting up and operating laser engraving machines to produce precise metal parts. Responsibilities include creating engraving programs maintaining electronic files collaborating with engineering teams and performing quality inspections using specialized tools. What You'll Do7
- 1Design and develop accurate laser engraving programs
- 2Maintain and manage all electronic programming files
- 3Collaborate with engineering department to resolve technical ambiguities
- 4Set up laser engraving machines according to production specifications
- 5Perform quality inspections using calipers micrometers squares and height gauges
- 6Ensure adherence to print guidelines throughout production workflow
- 7Document processes and maintain equipment maintenance logs
Requirements7
- 1High School diploma or equivalent
- 22 years of relevant hands-on experience
- 3Proficiency in interpreting written oral and diagrammatic instructions
- 4Strong mathematical abilities for unit conversions and calculations
- 5Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance
- 6Experience with laser engraving systems
- 7Familiarity with measurement tools and quality control procedures
