What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement sequences for installing and maintaining air conditioning refrigeration heating ventilating systems including absorption heaters and chillers
- 2Calibrate electrical and pneumatic controls using blueprints and LACC specifications
- 3Operate and maintain facility equipment such as absorption chillers and building automation systems
- 4Perform preventative maintenance on freezers HVAC units and water treatment systems
- 5Conduct visual inspections and execute repairs on refrigeration and climate control equipment
- 6Manage daily work logs and report completion status to Lead Certified Engineer
- 7Drive scaling of maintenance programs across multiple venues
- 8Lead troubleshooting of complex HVAC issues within the first 90 days
- 9Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards
- 10Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless event support
- 11Maintain documentation for all system modifications and repairs
Requirements11
- 15+ years building operating engineering experience
- 2Certification: AWS Certified
- 3Spark and Airflow expertise for ETL pipeline development
- 4Ability to interpret technical blueprints and specifications
- 5Proficiency in HVAC control systems and preventive maintenance procedures
- 6Strong communication skills for team collaboration
- 7Physical stamina for standing and moving equipment
- 8Experience with industrial refrigeration systems
- 9Familiarity with building automation platforms
- 10Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- 11Union membership preferred
