Lab Technician, Food & Beverage R&D & Lab Support
Overview
Own analyses and sample preparation in our Columbus lab supporting food and beverage R&D projects at a growing pace. Work with a science team to run routine chemical and physical tests, prepare samples, and generate accurate results. You’ll join a hands-on learning environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and detailed record keeping. This role is onsite in Marysville, OH and offers a pathway from entry level to contract-to-hire.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and manage samples by receiving processing tracking and disposing of analytical requests
- 2Perform routine chemical and physical testing on food grade samples
- 3Coordinate with project managers scientists and lab members to organize weekly workload
- 4Accurately record results enter data into systems and generate routine reports
- 5Maintain a safe clean laboratory environment in compliance with policies and procedures
Requirements5
- 10-1 year of related experience with an Associate degree in a science field or 1-3 years with a High School Diploma or GED
- 2Experience in a laboratory setting with physical testing and sample preparation preferred
- 3Ability to accurately follow instructions and communicate effectively
- 4Reliability accountability and proactive cooperation with a results focus
- 5Good attitude and great attendance detail oriented strong planning and organizational skills
