As a Kitchen Utility Associate, you own the cleanliness and sanitation of our restaurant's dishware and kitchen equipment. Your work directly shapes the dining experience for residents. You will support a culinary team across Portland, Oregon, ensuring every meal is served on spotless dishes. What You'll Do8
- 1Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using 3-compartment sink or dishwasher.
- 2Dry and store all cleaned items in designated areas to maintain organization.
- 3Sweep and mop the dishwashing area to keep it clean and safe.
- 4Remove trash, recycling, and food waste promptly to prevent clutter and odors.
- 5Clean mats and garbage pails to uphold hygiene standards.
- 6Sanitize food preparation surfaces and storage areas as needed.
- 7Support kitchen staff during meal prep by replenishing supplies and equipment.
- 8Resupply chemicals and dispensers to ensure sanitary operations.
Requirements10
- 16-12 months of dishwasher or kitchen support experience preferred.
- 2Food Handler Card and knowledge of kitchen sanitation is a plus.
- 3Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is desirable.
- 4Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- 5Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- 6Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- 7Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- 8Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- 9Comfortable working in hot, humid, and wet environments.
- 10Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
