You will own the sanitation and organization of the kitchen at Sequoias Living, a premier senior living community in San Francisco. You keep the dish area spotless, maintain dishwashing machine operations, and support the culinary team during service. You work alongside a dedicated team that values hospitality and excellence. What You'll Do9
- 1Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then load them into the dishwashing machine or wash by hand.
- 2Wash pots, pans, and trays using assigned procedures to ensure complete sanitation.
- 3Polish silver with the burnishing machine, chemical dips, and hand buffing.
- 4Monitor and maintain temperatures and chemical levels in the dishwashing machine to meet safety standards.
- 5Keep the dish area orderly and sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety requirements.
- 6Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
- 7Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean garbage cans as needed.
- 8Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- 9Help load and unload supplies and product deliveries.
Requirements7
- 1Prior food service experience preferred.
- 2Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 3Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and operating dishwashing machine.
- 4Flexible schedule including afternoons and weekends.
- 5Commitment to safety and sanitation standards.
- 6Team player with a positive attitude.
- 7Legal authorization to work in the United States.
