Overview
You will own the sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen work areas at a Bon Appétit café in Mountain View, CA. You will work Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and Friday, 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role is part-time and contract-based, with a fixed pay rate of $33.18 per hour. What You'll Do9
- 1Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into the dishwashing machine.
- 2Wash pots, pans, and trays per assigned procedures to ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
- 3Polish silver using the burnishing machine, chemical dip, or buffing wheel as assigned.
- 4Maintain dish area order and compliance with safety standards.
- 5Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- 6Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
- 7Remove trash and place it in designated containers.
- 8Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- 9Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and help load and unload supplies.

- 1Previous dishwashing experience is preferred.
- 2Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
- 3Ability to operate dishwashing machines and related equipment.
- 4Physical ability to stand, lift, and move supplies for the duration of the shift.
- 5Availability for Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and Friday, 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
