Overview
Own kitchen utility duties ensuring clean dishes for resident meals. Responsible for sanitizing cookware and maintaining kitchen hygiene. This role drives operational efficiency in our dining services.
What You'll Do7
- 1Wash and sanitize dishes utensils pots pans and kitchen equipment per protocols
- 2Ensure cleaned items are properly dried and stored
- 3Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area including floor maintenance
- 4Remove trash recycling and food waste regularly
- 5Clean mats garbage pails and sanitize food prep surfaces
- 6Support kitchen staff by replenishing supplies and equipment
- 7Resupply chemicals towel dispensers and soap dispensers for sanitation
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Food Handler Card with kitchen sanitation knowledge a plus
- 36-12 months dishwasher experience a plus
- 4Prior experience in senior living healthcare or hospitality highly desirable
- 5Ability to work fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks
- 6Strong attention to detail commitment to cleanliness good communication teamwork ability to lift 50 pounds comfortable in hot humid wet environments flexible shift availability weekends holidays
