You will own the full accounting cycle for DynamiX, a fast-growing web design company with 1,400+ client awards, reporting directly to the CEO. You'll handle QuickBooks bookkeeping, month-end close, financial statements, AP/AR, payroll, and budgeting, with dotted-line support from Alderman Enterprises' finance team. What You'll Do12

  • 1Own daily bookkeeping and general ledger activity, including journal entries and account reconciliations in QuickBooks.
  • 2Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the CEO and Alderman Enterprises.
  • 3Collaborate with sales and operations to align financial goals and support business decisions.
  • 4Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • 5Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax withholding and reporting requirements.
  • 6Reconcile bank and credit card accounts in QuickBooks and monitor cash flow to maintain liquidity.
  • 7Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, partnering with the CEO and Alderman's finance team.
  • 8Ensure GAAP compliance and coordinate with outside CPAs for the annual Financial Statement Review and tax filings.
  • 9Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records and documentation.
  • 10Build and refine accounting processes, controls, and reporting systems as the company scales.
  • 11Serve as the primary financial contact at DynamiX, escalating complex issues to the CEO and Alderman finance team.
  • 12Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.

Requirements9

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 22-4 years of experience in accounting or a related financial role, with agency, professional services, or small-to-midsize company experience a plus.
  • 3Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
  • 4Proficiency with QuickBooks and strong Excel skills.
  • 5High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • 6Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • 7Clear communication skills, with the confidence to flag issues and ask questions.
  • 8A proactive, do-it-right mindset, taking ownership of your work.
  • 9Nice to have: experience with financial reporting tools or ERP systems, exposure to marketing or SaaS business models, progress toward CPA certification.
