IT Subject Matter Expert, Federal IT Programs & PMO Leadership
Overview
IT Subject Matter Expert supports project management, coordination, analysis, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across one or more concurrent federal IT initiatives. Lead technical guidance, validation, and integration planning for complex systems within a structured delivery environment. Provide senior-level, hands-on oversight to ensure disciplined execution from planning through closeout and sustainment. Work in a hybrid Washington, DC setting with exposure to multiple portfolios and evolving priorities.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and lead technical workstreams across concurrent projects delivering end-to-end IT solutions
- 2Validate designs, conduct specialized training, and coordinate integration planning to resolve cross-project technical challenges
- 3Advise project teams on complex requirements and translate business needs into actionable implementation plans
- 4Identify technical risks, recommend mitigations, and support decision-making for systems with integrations or operational constraints
- 5Contribute to training, testing, readiness activities, issue resolution, and lessons learned to improve repeatable delivery practices
- 6Review key project artifacts, refine requirements, and support schedule, quality, and adoption milestones
- 7Capture knowledge and provide targeted senior expertise to support project delivery and sustainment

- 16 years of relevant professional experience
- 2Bachelor's Degree
- 3Prior government experience is desired
- 4Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
