IT Project Manager, UKG ERP/HCM
Overview
You will own delivery of enterprise technology programs in the UKG HCM suite and broader ERP landscape, managing budgets up to $5M and cross-functional teams of 20+. You report to the PMO Director and coordinate with business, technical, and vendor stakeholders. This contract role in Tampa demands hands-on project leadership from kickoff to go-live, with direct influence on HCM transformation.
What You'll Do7
- 1Lead project planning, execution, and closure for UKG and ERP implementations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- 2Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and risks, tracking against milestones and adjusting as needed.
- 3Coordinate business, technical, and vendor teams, resolving dependencies and driving decisions.
- 4Drive weekly status meetings, publish dashboards, and report to steering committees.
- 5Own change management and communication plans to support adoption of new HCM processes.
- 6Shield the team from blockers and escalate issues when needed to keep projects on track.
- 7Deliver post-implementation support and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Requirements7
- 15+ years managing enterprise IT projects, with 2+ years in HCM or ERP implementations.
- 2Hands-on experience with UKG (Kronos) or similar HCM platforms like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
- 3Proven track record running full project lifecycles using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- 4Strong financial acumen, managing budgets of $1M+ and driving ROI.
- 5Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details to executives.
- 6Certification preferred: PMP, ScrumMaster, or UKG related certification.
- 7Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
