IT Project Manager, SAP EWM Implementation
Overview
You will own end-to-end delivery of SAP EWM projects at a global manufacturer, managing $5M+ budgets and cross-functional teams. You will partner with warehouse ops and IT leadership to drive rollout across 3-5 sites. This role demands deep SAP EWM configuration knowledge and a track record of 5+ years in project management. You will make key decisions on system architecture and integration with SAP S/4HANA. This is a hands-on role with direct ownership of timeline, scope, and stakeholder communication.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead SAP EWM implementation from blueprint to go-live, managing 8-10 team members and $2M+ budget.
- 2Drive business process workshops to map warehouse flows and configure EWM modules like Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory.
- 3Coordinate with ABAP developers on custom enhancements and RF framework integration.
- 4Manage 3 parallel workstreams: functional, technical, and integration with SAP TM and SAP MM.
- 5Own project plan, resource allocation, and risk mitigation across 4 global sites.
- 6Facilitate UAT with warehouse leads and sign-off on EWM processes.
- 7Report weekly to steering committee on milestones, issues, and change requests.
- 8Ensure data migration from legacy WMS to EWM within 30 days pre-go-live.
- 9Deliver hypercare support post go-live and transition to operations.
Requirements8
- 17+ years in IT project management with 3+ years in SAP EWM implementations.
- 2SAP EWM certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) required.
- 3Proven track record of 2 full lifecycles in SAP EWM for warehousing.
- 4Hands-on configuration experience in EWM modules: Inbound, Outbound, Physical Inventory, and RF.
- 5Strong integration knowledge with SAP S/4HANA (MM, SD, TM) and EWM.
- 65+ years in manufacturing or distribution industry.
- 7Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- 8Excellent communication with 5+ years leading cross-functional teams.
