IT Budget and Operations Coordinator, Remote
Overview
This role owns the IT budget tracker across multiple cost centers, ensuring accurate tracking of spend against budgets and forecasts. You will partner with IT leadership, Finance, and Procurement to reconcile data and support decision-making. The position requires 3+ years of budget coordination and advanced Excel skills. This is a remote role based in Atlanta, offering the chance to shape financial operations in a process-driven environment.
What You'll Do6
- 1Own and maintain a detailed IT budget tracker across multiple cost centers, ensuring accuracy and organization.
- 2Track budget versus actuals on a recurring basis, identify variances, and prepare clear reporting for leadership.
- 3Partner with cost center owners to collect updates, validate spend, and reconcile planned versus actual expenses.
- 4Support monthly budget review cycles by updating financial trackers and organizing supporting detail.
- 5Review invoices and spend records against budgets, purchase orders, and contract terms to ensure accurate coding.
- 6Use advanced Excel formulas, pivot tables, and lookups to manage large data sets and perform reconciliations.
Requirements6
- 13+ years of experience in budget coordination, financial operations, FP&A support, or accounting support.
- 2Proven ability to manage budgets, track budget versus actuals, and identify spend variances.
- 3Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cost centers and deadlines.
- 4Accuracy with detailed financial data, invoices, and purchase orders.
- 5Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliations.
- 6Comfort working with IT leadership, Finance, Procurement, and cost center owners.
