Overview
You will own the daily operation of the In-School Suspension (ISS) room at Mooresville Graded School District, supervising up to 30 students and ensuring a structured environment for academic completion. You will coordinate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to keep students on track. This role centers on firm expectations and positive relationship-building, with a focus on helping students reflect and return to class successfully.
What You'll Do6
- 1Supervise students assigned to ISS, maintaining a structured, quiet learning environment.
- 2Ensure students complete classroom assignments provided by their teachers, tracking progress daily.
- 3Monitor student behavior and document incidents using school systems.
- 4Communicate with teachers to coordinate assignments and with counselors for student support.
