Inventory Specialist, Warehouse & Logistics
Overview
You will own the flow of satellite equipment and hardware in and out of the warehouse supporting DISH and Sling TV operations. You will track and document inventory with computer tracking systems, manage van and warehouse stock counts, and prepare shipments for remote employees. What You'll Do6
- 1Document the quantity and type of satellite dishes, receivers, DVRs, and associated hardware stocked in the warehouse and on vans.
- 2Maintain accurate physical counts of van products, warehouse products, and saleable products on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
- 3Receive returned equipment, new inventory, and vendor shipments; stock inventory and prepare returns to the re-manufacturing department.
- 4Record distributed hardware information in the computer tracking system to ensure real-time inventory accuracy.
- 5Complete daily inventory transactions for all products used, linking them to proper accounts.
- 6Prepare equipment shipments to remote employees with accurate documentation and timely delivery.
Requirements6
- 1Valid driver's license in the state of employment with a driving record meeting DISH's minimum safety standard.
- 2Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and ability to work overtime.
- 3Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally up to 125 pounds.
- 4Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jack and forklift.
- 5Proficiency in using computer systems and inventory tracking programs to manage and update inventory records.
