We seek an Inventory Specialist to lead inventory management at our Charlotte facility. The role involves overseeing stock levels and fulfilling customer orders through precise data entry and reconciliation. What You'll Do14

  • 1Enter data for part quantities and transfers into the database
  • 2Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing staff
  • 3Record shelf-life expirations and notify relevant personnel
  • 4Prepare monthly cycle count and pick-list reports
  • 5Participate in regular physical inventory cycles
  • 6Place orders for approximately 40 vendors using multiple channels
  • 7Confirm payments via email phone or COD during receiving
  • 8Update inventory spreadsheets to monitor stock levels
  • 9Audit tracked items weekly monthly quarterly and annually
  • 10Forecast supply needs to prevent stockouts
  • 11Send invoices to accounting promptly upon receipt
  • 12Follow up with suppliers to meet deadlines
  • 13Search for price comparisons and alternative suppliers
  • 14Maintain detailed documentation and communication records

Requirements10

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent plus one year experience in warehousing or related field
  • 2Valid driver's license obtainable within four months
  • 3OSHA forklift certification available within four months
  • 4Proficiency with inventory control software and tools
  • 5Strong mathematical and technical abilities
  • 6Excellent organizational and detail-oriented mindset
  • 7Ability to build relationships with employees and vendors
  • 8Experience with equipment operation and safety protocols
  • 9Knowledge of hazard safety and proper material handling
  • 10Experience with computer terminals and digital systems
