Overview

Own a scoped engineering project at Starpath, contributing to systems that will enable humans to live on the Moon and Mars. You will work on real hardware, learn from senior engineers, and ramp on CAD, FEA/CFD, and embedded C for space solar, lunar infrastructure, or manufacturing operations. This role offers early-career engineers hands-on ownership from day one, with mentorship and a path to broader impact.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Own a scoped project as a contributing member of a discipline team, from design through test or manufacturing.
  • 2Ramp on CAD, FEA/CFD, MATLAB, and other engineering tools under mentorship.
  • 3Contribute to design reviews, test campaigns, and manufacturing improvements.
  • 4Present work internally and at the end of internship for interns.
  • 5Take on progressively harder problems as you build depth in your discipline.
  • 6Ask hard questions and push back when something doesn't make sense.

Requirements6

  • 10-2 years of full-time experience for Associates; for Interns, currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program.
  • 2Collegiate project team or laboratory experience (e.g., Formula SAE, Baja SAE, Rocketry, Robotics, CubeSat).
  • 3CAD skills and ability to make high quality engineering drawings, or equivalent hands-on tool proficiency.
  • 4Demonstrated hands-on fabrication, laboratory, or build skills.
  • 5High competence with engineering first principles in your discipline.
  • 6U.S. Person status required.
