Interior Technician Black Veatch
Overview
Support Interiors team through Move Add Change activities and daily service requests. Perform hands-on tasks such as chair adjustments and monitor arm installations while maintaining safe functional office spaces. Respond to ServiceNow requests and coordinate with project managers.
What You'll Do11
- 1Execute MAC activities including workstation reconfigurations and small moves
- 2Respond to requests via ServiceNow and direct input from Interior Project Managers
- 3Perform chair adjustments and minor repairs; coordinate vendor repairs as needed
- 4Install and adjust monitor arms keyboard trays and ergonomic accessories
- 5Conduct ergonomic adjustments and support workstation optimization
- 6Conduct routine walkthroughs to identify safety hazards and ensure workspace quality
- 7Support workspace setup for offices conference rooms and collaboration areas
- 8Document and close tickets accurately in ServiceNow
- 9Coordinate with Interiors Facilities IT and vendors
- 10Manage multiple requests organize work effectively and meet deadlines
- 11Solve practical problems with proactive service-oriented approach
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 23+ years of related experience in facilities workplace services furniture installation or similar support role
- 3Ability to use basic hand tools and perform minor furniture or workplace-related repairs
- 4Strong customer service communication and organization skills
- 5Minimum qualifications include ability to pass criminal civil background check drug screen and motor vehicle records search
