Integration Manager M&A - Insurance
Overview
You will own M&A integration and large-scale transformation projects for a top insurance firm, driving alignment across executive leadership, acquired entities, and cross-functional teams. You will manage the full project lifecycle from strategy to execution, ensuring milestones, budgets, and governance stay on track. Reporting to the Home Office, you will collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, and operational leaders to integrate new acquisitions smoothly. This role demands 8-10+ years of P&C insurance and project management experience, with PMP certification preferred. You will shape integration frameworks and set the standard for future deals.
What You'll Do8
- 1Define integration roadmaps, timelines, and governance structures for M&A deals, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- 2Lead cross-functional workstreams to transition acquired entities into IOA's operations, coordinating with Finance, HR, and IT.
- 3Develop detailed project plans, track milestones, and monitor progress to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget.
- 4Identify risks early, build mitigation strategies, and resolve issues that threaten integration success.
- 5Manage scope changes and communicate updates to leadership, using Excel and PowerPoint for executive reporting.
- 6Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and dependencies, ensuring business priorities are met.
- 7Drive process improvements by evaluating workflows and implementing scalable solutions for operational efficiency.
- 8Maintain comprehensive documentation: integration plans, decision logs, and governance records throughout the lifecycle.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred.
- 28-10+ years of project management experience in P&C insurance managing a book of business.
- 3Proven track record leading M&A integrations or large-scale transformation initiatives.
- 4PMP certification preferred.
- 5Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience creating executive-level reports.
- 6Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
- 7Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple teams.
- 8Excellent communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
