Implementation Project Manager - Insurance
Overview
Own the implementation and coordination of student health insurance plans for colleges and universities, managing a portfolio of new and renewing client projects. You will work directly with internal teams and school administrators to ensure successful launches and renewals, using Smartsheet and other project management tools to track progress and maintain documentation. This role sits on a dedicated implementation team within RSC Insurance Brokerage, a part of Brown & Brown, and offers the chance to shape client experiences from day one. What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare project documentation, including project updates, meeting notes, and agendas for each client implementation.
- 2Develop and manage client relationships, resolving issues quickly with a client-first approach.
- 3Track and execute post-implementation season improvements using Smartsheet to prioritize and deliver initiatives.
- 4Manage a portfolio of new and renewing client projects, ensuring accurate tracking, timely updates, and complete documentation.
- 5Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, quality guidelines, and timelines, providing feedback on process enhancements.
- 6Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and escalating issues as needed.
- 7Lead meetings with cross-functional teams to coordinate implementation tasks and align on next steps.
- 8Monitor project risks and dependencies, adjusting plans to meet client expectations.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 23-5 years of project management experience, with client-facing experience highly desirable
- 3Strong organizational and time management skills
- 4Excellent written and verbal communication
- 5Strong presentation skills, including the ability to effectively lead meetings
- 6Comfortability working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple tasks
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet
- 8Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- 9Attention to detail and ability to work independently with supervision
