What You'll Do8
- 1Build and manage aging reports to drive timely collections and reduce denials
- 2Reprocess and submit accurate claims to payers with emphasis on reducing days in accounts receivable
- 3Reconcile accounts to detect underpayments, overpayments, and contractual adjustments
- 4Lead claim status follow-ups with payers and communicate billing changes to optimize performance
- 5Reconcile and correct CMS-1500 paper and electronic claim submissions for secondary filing
- 6Ship daily claims batches and monitor rejection trends to minimize patient billing questions
- 7Drive research into unpaid claims, denials, and payer issues to inform process improvements
- 8Own updates to insurance carrier data and system configurations as needed
