Instructional Designer, Localization & L&D
Overview
You will design interactive learning experiences for a localization program supporting Worldwide Operations, with content built in English and translated into multiple languages. You will partner with the localization program manager to turn subject matter expertise into structured materials. This short-term, deliverable-focused role includes researching emerging L&D localization approaches and building Articulate 360 modules. You will create onboarding programs and operations support for fulfillment centers and last-mile delivery workers.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build interactive learning modules using Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) to showcase localization approaches.
- 2Design end-to-end L&D materials, from needs analysis to final deliverable, for a global audience.
- 3Localize onboarding programs and operations support content for fulfillment centers and last-mile delivery workers.
- 4Synthesize research and SME input into clear, structured deliverables for the localization program.
- 5Create engaging experiences for live events or conferences that demonstrate localization strategies.
- 6Test emerging generative AI tools for L&D localization and integrate findings into material development.
- 7Partner with the localization program manager to structure content for translation workflows.
- 8Develop materials that educate customers on localization approaches, using Adobe Creative Cloud for visual assets.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of prior L&D experience with a bachelor's degree in instructional design, multimedia development, or equivalent.
- 2Articulate 360 expertise, including Storyline, Rise, and Captivate.
- 3Experience designing and developing learning or enablement materials end-to-end.
- 4Experience creating interactive experiences for live events or conferences.
- 5Ability to synthesize research and SME input into structured deliverables.
- 6Experience with Articulate 360 authoring tools for e-learning modules.
- 7Experience with localization, translation, or internationalization workflows.
- 8Familiarity with building and testing generative AI solutions.
- 9Second language Spanish is a plus.
- 10Experience with translation management systems and machine translation post-editing (MTPE).
Salary Insight
$83 - $94k per year
