What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and install structured cabling and voice data systems ensuring accurate wiring and top quality workmanship
  • 2Stage equipment and inventory for accuracy and coordinate timely power cuts with customers
  • 3Lead subordinates, monitor work ethics, safety, and project progress while maintaining final paperwork quality
  • 4Design and document methods of procedure for customer approval and support project planning meetings
  • 5Coordinate with vendors, customers, and end users to ensure project success and requirements alignment
  • 6Inspect installations for quality, safety, and compliance with Telecommunication standards and EH&S policies
  • 7Perform maintenance and upgrades to service contracts and complete QA procedures to prevent errors
  • 8Manage inventory, tool calibration, and change requests (ECR/Red Line) for project integrity
  • 9Assist with outside plant installations and central office equipment setups when required
  • 10Support multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail

Requirements10

  • 1High school diploma or GED required
  • 2Minimum of 6 years telecommunication training and/or experience
  • 3Proven proficiency in telephony beyond standard installation parameters
  • 4Ability to read and present method of procedure
  • 5Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
  • 6Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows-based computer use
  • 7Ability to travel up to 80% and work independently or in a team
  • 8Pass drug screen and criminal background check
  • 9Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • 10Must adhere to Environmental Health & Safety policies and company standards
