Fiber Installation Technician, Fiber & Residential Services
Overview
Own field installation projects at scale in a growing telecom provider. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber and related services for residential customers. Collaborate with a team to deliver reliable connections and high customer satisfaction. This role blends hands on field work with customer interaction and flexible scheduling.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build scheduled fiber installations, reconnects, and related residential service activities
- 2Troubleshoot and repair minor technical issues to minimize customer downtime
- 3Complete installations in a safe and efficient manner following industry standards
- 4Coordinate with dispatch and local teams to meet changing customer demands
- 5Document work and maintain accurate records of service calls and materials used
Requirements6
- 1Minimum of two years of experience in fiber, cable, satellite, or residential alarm installation; training available for the right candidate
- 2Must use personal vehicle and receive mileage reimbursement; valid driver’s license, registration, and auto insurance
- 3Comfort working outdoors and at heights, with strong safety practices
- 4Excellent communication and customer service skills
- 5Basic computer skills and ability to learn field software
- 6Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate customer schedules
