What You'll Do7
- 1Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cables in commercial and residential environments
- 2Lead and coordinate installation projects, ensuring timely and high-quality completion
- 3Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiber optic and low-voltage systems
- 4Collaborate with managers and clients to ensure installations meet specifications and schedules
- 5Maintain safety standards and adhere to industry regulations
- 6Train and mentor junior technicians as needed
- 7Maintain daily work logs
Requirements10
- 15+ years proven experience in fiber optic cable installation
- 2Valid driver license and reliable vehicle
- 3Must pass drug screening and background check
- 4High School Diploma or GED
- 5Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems
- 6Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- 7Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- 8Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 9Experience training and directing or supervising other workers
- 10Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, FOA CFOT) are a plus
