Overview
We seek an Inpatient Registered Nurse in our West Campus Diagnostic Imaging Department to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age-appropriate care while incorporating family-centered and cost-effective practices. What You'll Do11
- 1Assist in collecting patient/family data including biophysical psychosocial developmental cultural and environmental information per site protocol
- 2Collect and document vital signs height weight and reason for visit
- 3Prepare patients for examinations according to site protocols
- 4Support providers during treatments examinations and testing as directed
- 5Administer medications and immunizations as ordered by physicians
- 6Document medication administration in the medical record
- 7Provide patient/family education and document it in the medical record
- 8Coordinate referrals and triage complaints per site protocol
- 9Verify orders and patient protocols before procedures
- 10Process specimens following manufacturer instructions
- 11Demonstrate service philosophies to patients and families
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of professional nursing experience
- 3Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field with acceptance or enrollment in a BSN program
- 4Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- 5Current Texas RN license verified by the Board of Nursing or Nurse Licensure Compact
- 6Must be enrolled in a Nursing Bridge Program pursuing an MSN
- 7Preferred experience includes radiology diagnostic imaging acute care ICU and pediatrics
