
Infrastructure Project Manager, UPS & Asset Lifecycle
Overview
Lead two high-impact infrastructure programs: Device & Asset Lifecycle Management and UPS Battery Replacement & Power Continuity. Own end-to-end delivery across a distributed enterprise, partnering with facilities, security, and IT operations. Report directly to senior leadership and drive multi-year budget planning, vendor coordination, and risk mitigation. This role stands out for its dual focus on operational standardization and power infrastructure reliability.
What You'll Do7
- 1Run the Device & Asset Lifecycle program: standardize device fleets, improve inventory visibility, and plan replacement budgets.
- 2Drive the UPS battery replacement program: coordinate multi-year schedules, vendor work, and power continuity risk assessments.
- 3Build cross-functional alignment with facilities, security, and IT teams to define requirements and success metrics.
- 4Track milestones, budgets, and dependencies across both programs, providing transparent status to stakeholders.
- 5Negotiate with vendors for hardware, batteries, and maintenance contracts to control costs and ensure SLA compliance.
- 6Develop risk mitigation plans for power outages and device deficits, with clear escalation paths.
- 7Use Jira and MS Project to manage schedules, resources, and reporting for both programs.
Requirements6
- 15+ years managing large infrastructure or data center projects with lifecycle and power systems exposure.
- 2Hands-on knowledge of UPS systems, battery technologies, and replacement cycles.
- 3Experience with asset management tools like ServiceNow and Coupa.
- 4Strong vendor management and procurement experience for hardware and power equipment.
- 5PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- 6Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship, and ability to work onsite in Boston.
