What You'll Do8
- 1Lead an outpatient infectious disease program focused on HIV, Hepatitis B/C, PrEP, and STI prevention and treatment.
- 2Build clinical protocols for injectable HIV/PrEP therapies and expand access across the organization.
- 3Educate primary care physicians on infectious disease best practices and prevention strategies.
- 4See 8-16 patients per day, including virtual consults for residential program patients.
- 5Collaborate with a dedicated medical assistant and patient navigator to coordinate comprehensive care.
- 6Manage a case mix of HIV, hepatitis, sexually transmitted infections, and other infectious diseases in an outpatient setting.
- 7Participate in call responsibilities as part of a supportive team.
- 8Work Monday-Friday with clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, maintaining a consistent schedule.
Requirements6
- 1Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease.
- 2Comfortable managing HIV, Hepatitis B/C, PrEP, and other infectious diseases in an outpatient setting.
- 3Interest in developing clinical protocols and expanding HIV prevention initiatives.
- 4Passion for providing comprehensive sexual health services and caring for underserved populations.
- 5Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including primary care, psychiatry, and substance use providers.
