You will lead a classroom of infants at Currey Ingram Academy's Child Development Center, shaping their first school experience with Frogstreet curriculum and outdoor education. What You'll Do9
- 1Implement Frogstreet curriculum to guide daily learning activities for infants.
- 2Oversee classroom operations, ensuring safety and cleanliness per state guidelines.
- 3Build nurturing relationships with each child to support emotional security.
- 4Collaborate with co-teachers to plan sensory, motor, and language development activities.
- 5Communicate daily updates with parents about their child's progress and milestones.
- 6Manage classroom routines including feeding, diapering, and nap time effectively.
- 7Incorporate outdoor education into weekly lesson plans, utilizing campus nature areas.
- 8Maintain positive behavioral expectations through redirection and modeling.
- 9Participate in monthly professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 221+ years old
- 3Experience with infant age groups preferred
- 4Early childhood education credentials or equivalent preferred
- 5Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and kneel to child level
- 6Clear background check and TB test
- 7CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
