Overview

Industrial maintenance technicians will own troubleshooting and repair of automated production equipment at an automotive facility in Franklin, IN, supporting 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will work with CNC machinery, PLCs, robotics, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on a fast paced line. This role blends hands on maintenance, predictive work, and project tasks to minimize downtime. You’ll train on 1st shift before moving to your assigned shift and join a collaborative team focused on uptime and safety.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and repair industrial production machinery and automated equipment to reduce downtime
  • 2Diagnose mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic issues on CNC and PLC controlled systems
  • 3Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on critical assets
  • 4Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore production with minimal disruption
  • 5Read interpret and apply electrical schematics mechanical drawings and pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams
  • 6Assist with equipment installations modifications and maintenance projects
  • 7Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures and maintain 5S clean work areas
  • 8Maintain maintenance records and assist with spare parts inventory
  • 9Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and shift handoffs
  • 10Support training and knowledge transfer for new equipment and processes

Requirements10

  • 12+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
  • 2Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • 3Experience maintaining repairing industrial production machinery
  • 4Experience with CNC machinery and automated equipment preferred
  • 5Working knowledge of PLCs and PLC ladder logic
  • 6Knowledge of electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • 7Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
  • 8Robotics and automation experience is a plus
  • 9OMRON PLC experience is a plus
  • 10Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
