Overview
Pocas International Corp. seeks an Import & Purchasing Specialist to drive import operations and support purchasing activities. This role focuses on managing import logistics and assisting with procurement across domestic and international markets.
What You'll Do9
- 1Coordinate and manage import activities including shipment scheduling and customs clearance
- 2Assist with domestic and international purchasing based on inventory needs
- 3Prepare purchase orders using the ERP system
- 4Support vendor negotiations and purchasing decisions
- 5Verify shipment documentation for accuracy before customs clearance
- 6Maintain organized import and export records
- 7Collaborate with suppliers and logistics providers for efficient delivery
- 8Handle import and export documentation processes
- 9Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in food and beverage or cosmetic industry
- 2Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications
- 3Ability to work on-site in Carlstadt New Jersey
- 4Bilingual communication skills preferred
- 5Physical stamina to stand walk and sit during duties
Salary Insight
$45 - $55k per year
