What You'll Do9

  • 1Build and scan medical and laboratory documents for electronic storage and indexing in Hicksville
  • 2Review scanned files for completeness and legibility to ensure accurate patient records
  • 3Prepare transfiles for storage and maintain organized, searchable records
  • 4Retrieve and deliver laboratory documents as assigned to support operational needs
  • 5Assist with the destruction of outdated records in alignment with policies and privacy requirements
  • 6Maintain strict confidentiality and security of patient and laboratory information
  • 7Follow established documentation management and quality-control procedures
  • 8Collaborate with the Medical Records team and other departments to resolve issues
  • 9Perform additional records-related duties as directed by the Medical Records Manager
