What You'll Do7
- 1Scan and digitize confidential insurance and HIPAA-related documents with precision.
- 2Prepare files for scanning by removing staples, organizing paperwork, and sorting documents.
- 3Enter group file names and related information into the system using light data entry.
- 4Ensure each document is accurately scanned and properly indexed for retrieval.
- 5Dispose of physical documents in designated shred bins when appropriate.
- 6Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company document-handling procedures.
- 7Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and daily quotas.
Requirements6
- 11+ year of data entry or clerical experience.
- 2Basic computer skills and proficiency with scanning software.
- 3Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- 4Ability to handle confidential documents with discretion.
- 5Comfortable standing for 8 hours and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- 6Prior scanning, records management, or document processing experience is a plus.
