What You'll Do10
- 1Build patient care plans for critically ill patients and execute assessments within the first 24 hours
- 2Design and monitor vital signs, neurological status, and hemodynamic stability during shifts
- 3Operate and monitor ventilators and other ICU devices to support life sustaining care
- 4Respond to deteriorations in patient condition and initiate emergency interventions
- 5Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and nursing staff to coordinate care
- 6Maintain precise documentation in the EHR and ensure compliance with infection control
- 7Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and recovery processes
- 8Participate in rounds and contribute to care planning with the ICU team
- 9Mentor junior nurses and support staff to uphold clinical standards
- 10Ensure adherence to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)
- 2Current RN license in good standing
- 3Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 4Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- 5Experience in an ICU or critical care setting preferred
- 6Ability to operate advanced critical care equipment including ventilators and monitors
- 7Strong documentation skills in electronic health records (EHR)
- 8Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- 9Commitment to infection control and patient safety protocols
- 10Contract position in Philadelphia, PA - onsite
