HVAC Sales Manager
Overview
Johnson Controls is hiring an HVAC Sales Manager to lead account management, sales planning, forecasting, and team development supporting profitable branch growth. The role builds lasting relationships with key customers while guiding the sales team to deliver equipment solutions across all building types.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage account assignments for the Equipment sales team to support strong sales performance and plan attainment
- 2Plan, forecast, manage, and deliver consistent long-term profitable branch growth
- 3Lead and develop the sales team to be the premier supplier of equipment across all building types
- 4Build and maintain long-term customer relationships with owners, architects, consulting engineers, and contractors
- 5Increase market penetration by securing new customers and expanding the existing customer base
- 6Develop and maintain Account Plans with key and target accounts
- 7Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and align sales support resources accordingly
- 8Facilitate training and ensure support resources are in place to develop sales individuals capable of selling bundled offerings
- 9Develop local sales strategies aligned with branch mission and objectives
- 10Evaluate local customer satisfaction performance and lead proactive resolution of issues
- 11Represent the management team on strategically important key accounts and support customer relationship growth
Requirements5
- 15+ years of industry experience in HVAC sales, account management, and/or HVAC field operations
- 23+ years of leadership experience with responsibility for the productivity or development of others
- 3Experience planning, forecasting, and managing sales performance against business targets
- 4Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal partners
- 5Available for frequent travel
