What You'll Do11
- 1Install residential HVAC systems including split systems package units heat pumps furnaces air handlers mini-splits and ductwork
- 2Remove and properly dispose of existing equipment while preparing job sites for new installations
- 3Read and interpret blueprints installation manuals and work orders
- 4Install refrigerant lines condensate drains electrical connections gas piping duct systems thermostats and ventilation components
- 5Perform system start-up testing balancing and commissioning
- 6Troubleshoot installation-related issues and make necessary adjustments
- 7Maintain compliance with local codes manufacturer specifications OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- 8Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding installation progress and system operation
- 9Complete installation documentation accurately
- 10Maintain company vehicles tools and equipment
- 11Support warehouse organization and assist other installation crews as needed
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- 3Working knowledge of HVAC systems refrigeration cycle airflow principles and electrical components
- 4Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- 5Strong communication and customer service skills
- 6Preferred EPA Section 608 Certification
- 7NATE Certification or equivalent
- 8Experience installing high-efficiency HVAC systems
- 9Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software
