This position offers hands‑on HR administration, recruitment, and benefit coordination in a mission‑driven nonprofit educational setting.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Build full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding processes to maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • 2Design and deliver benefits enrollment, payroll changes, and leave adjustments in collaboration with the payroll vendor.
  • 3Maintain and optimize the HRIS and APD systems, manage PFML, FMLA, and workers’ compensation claims.
  • 4Provide policy guidance, employee communications, and recognition programs to foster an inclusive culture.
  • 5Support employee relations, offboarding, COBRA administration, and safety committee participation.

Requirements5

  • 1Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of comprehensive HR experience in talent acquisition, benefits administration, and compliance
  • 2Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat
  • 3HS HR Systems experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • 4Experience in educational or nonprofit settings is preferred
  • 5Knowledge of Federal and Massachusetts labor laws and ability to maintain compliant HR practices
