HR Generalist, Adult Day Health Care
Overview
You will own the full employee lifecycle for a team of healthcare professionals, from onboarding to offboarding, at a growing adult day health center in Boston. You'll work directly with leadership to shape HR policies and drive retention. This contract role puts you at the heart of a mission-driven environment where your HR expertise directly supports quality care. HR Generalist experience in healthcare is a plus.
What You'll Do7
- 1Own the end-to-end recruitment process: source, screen, and interview candidates for clinical and administrative roles.
- 2Design and deliver a structured onboarding program that gets new hires productive in their first 30 days.
- 3Build training materials that break down complex HR policies into actionable steps for staff.
- 4Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and timely communication to employees.
- 5Coach managers on performance management, including goal setting, reviews, and corrective action.
- 6Track HR metrics like turnover and time-to-fill, then present monthly reports to leadership.
- 7Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices across all employee relations matters.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a related HR role.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 3In-depth knowledge of HR policies and labor laws.
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and HR databases.
- 5Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
