Human Resources Coordinator - Bilingual Korean English
Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator at K-Day PACE will lead day-to-day HR operations and support staff in Los Angeles. This role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, and retaining compassionate professionals while ensuring compliance and fostering a caring environment. It is a hands-on position within a dynamic healthcare setting.
What You'll Do12
- 1Recruit and manage end-to-end hiring processes including job postings and candidate communication
- 2Coordinate full onboarding including offer letters and system access setup
- 3Maintain confidential personnel files and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- 4Process employee status changes and coordinate FMLA and other leave requests
- 5Support benefits administration and coordinate mandatory compliance trainings
- 6Serve as primary HR point of contact for policy questions and employee relations
- 7Partner with payroll for accurate timekeeping and payroll setup
- 8Drive performance management cycles and track evaluation documents
- 9Lead HR projects such as employee engagement activities and policy updates
- 10Assist with HR compliance audits and prepare for external workforce surveys
- 11Develop job descriptions and interview guides reflecting PACE program needs
- 12Ensure regulatory excellence and cultural sensitivity across all HR functions
Requirements7
- 1Minimum 2 years HR coordinator experience in healthcare or similar regulated settings
- 2Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with additional relevant experience
- 3Proficiency with HRIS systems and knowledge of California labor laws
- 4Certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are preferred
- 5Strong understanding of PACE program mission and elderly care best practices
- 6Excellent written and verbal communication skills with cultural sensitivity
- 7Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly

$52 - $64k per year
