Overview
Penn Terminals seeks a Human Resource Generalist to lead HR functions supporting organizational goals and client success. This exempt role reports to the Head of Human Resources and oversees recruitment onboarding and benefits while collaborating with union partners and maintaining HRIS systems.
What You'll Do11
- 1Oversee recruitment end-to-end including seasonal hiring
- 2Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes
- 3Develop training programs and coordinate learning initiatives
- 4Administer benefits and ensure regulatory compliance
- 5Manage FMLA and leave processes
- 6Cultivate relationships with union employees
- 7Support HRIS implementation and user assistance
- 8Offer audit support for data accuracy
- 9Develop engagement initiatives
- 10Coordinate company events
- 11Collaborate with labor relations on safety protocols
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in human resources business administration or related field
- 22-3 years HR Generalist experience
- 3Strong HRIS knowledge including integration and testing
- 4Understanding of employment laws benefits leave and union relations
- 5Excellent communication and organizational skills
- 6Ability to handle confidential information
- 7HR certification preferred
- 8Paylocity or UKG experience preferred
- 9Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software
- 10Experience with internet software
- 11Discretion and accuracy in data management

$55 - $60k per year
