Housekeeping Manager Public Areas, Hospitality Operations
Overview
Own the public areas cleaning program for a hospitality property in South Phoenix, supervising a frontline team to uphold spotless lobbies, corridors, and guest spaces at scale. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and oversee daily public area housekeeping operations across all guest-facing spaces
- 2Inspect areas and address quality concerns immediately to maintain standards
- 3Coach and develop supervisors and frontline staff and manage staffing schedules based on occupancy
- 4Coordinate deep-cleaning projects and preventative maintenance
- 5Monitor attendance, productivity, and labor costs while maintaining supplies and equipment inventories
- 6Partner with property leadership and other departments to satisfy guest needs and service requests
- 7Enforce safety procedures, policies, and client standards
- 8Maintain required documentation on operations and staff
- 9Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and retention initiatives
- 10Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Requirements9
- 1Previous housekeeping management experience in hotel or high-volume hospitality environment
- 2Public area housekeeping experience preferred
- 3Proven ability to lead and develop frontline teams
- 4Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, chemicals, and safety practices
- 5Experience managing staffing, scheduling, productivity, and labor costs
- 6Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- 7Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- 8Excellent communication and leadership skills
- 9Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Salary Insight
$60 - $70k per year
