Housekeeping EVS Associate, Hospital Cleaning
Overview
Own cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a hospital environment at Banner Health's Ironwood Medical Center with a dedicated EVS team. What You'll Do5
- 1Build daily cleaning plans for assigned areas including patient rooms and common spaces
- 2Clean, sanitize, disinfect, and maintain equipment and surfaces to support a safe environment
- 3Restock supplies and manage waste streams including medical waste and sharps
- 4Perform special projects such as windows or wall washing and respond to staff and patient requests
- 5Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and uphold Banner Health service standards

- 1Requires ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 2Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push carts weighing up to 500 pounds
- 3Must be able to read and understand material safety data sheets and cleaning chemical instructions
- 4Must possess Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card if in certain behavioral health facilities and sign an Arizona Criminal History Affidavit
- 5Must complete onboarding timely and participate in background check and drug screen
