Overview
Own on-site floor care for patient areas and public spaces in a hospital environment. You will perform daily cleaning, stripping, buffing, and carpet care to maintain a safe, clean facility. Join a collaborative team focused on infection control and patient safety. This role includes hands-on floor maintenance across tile, vinyl, ceramic, and carpeted areas.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and perform scheduled floor cleaning across patient rooms, bathrooms and public areas using approved methods
- 2Strip, buff, and reseal floors to meet quarterly and annual maintenance plans
- 3Scrub and clean carpets using bonnet and extraction techniques
- 4Spot-clean carpets and wipe surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment
- 5Report safety hazards and participate in infection control practices to protect patients, staff and visitors

- 1Prefer basic housekeeping knowledge
- 2Able to read, write and communicate in English
- 3Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift 10lbs or more
- 4Pass drug screen, E-Verify and background check
