EVS Floor Care Technician Supervisor in Hospitality Healthcare Services
Overview
Own end-to-end floor care across multiple facilities in the Phoenix market with hands-on supervision and operational leadership. Manage daily floor care operations, assign work, and maintain consistent quality standards while traveling between sites. Provide coverage when needed and drive continuous improvement through CQI participation. Lead training and mentoring of staff to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and supervise floor care programs across multiple facilities to ensure high-quality results
- 2Lead preventive maintenance on specialized floor care equipment and train staff on proper usage
- 3Oversee and adjust staffing to address shortages while maintaining service levels
- 4Travel within the Phoenix market to oversee major floor care projects and provide hands-on support
- 5Drive continuous quality improvement activities and participate in CQI initiatives
- 6Schedule and assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with safety standards
- 7Perform floor restoration projects on large-scale surfaces and ensure timely completion
- 8Cover floor care duties during staff absences to maintain uninterrupted service
- 9Train new hires and mentor existing staff on procedures, equipment, and chemical handling
- 10Document outcomes and communicate progress to leadership
Requirements5
- 1Minimum of three (3) years of commercial floor care experience including stripping waxing buffing burnishing carpet extraction and hard floor maintenance
- 2Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
- 3Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel between facilities
- 4Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English; bilingual abilities preferred
- 5Thorough knowledge of commercial floor care procedures equipment and chemicals
